Freedom Adventure 9

With the  Hallet Cove Boardwalk closed for renovations we had 2 choices;

Cancel Freedom Adventure or customise our own coastal boardwalk.

We chose the latter.

6 am had everyone on the bus heading south travelling through vineyards and seaside towns to The Fleurieu Peninsula.

The sun was shining as we started the Trek through thick vegetation, getting glimpses of open water through the deep valleys.

After an hour trekking through vegetation, the trek opened up to the most magnificent coastline.

With the sun turning the ocean blue and the waves crashing into the cliffside the track had us slowly ascending and descending the rugged hills.

The trek leads us along a cliff edge, rewarding us with spectacular views all the way to Kangaroo Island.

We weren’t the only ones out with nature as the curious kangaroos shared our Trek and took great interest in the Freedom Adventurers. They watched us while we watched them. We entertained each other.

The adventure took us to a deserted beach where shoes were removed and feet were cooled down by the chill of the southern waves.

We headed back along the rugged coastline stopping occasionally to admire the view and breath in Mother Nature.

An elevated yoga and relaxation session looking over the ocean uplifted and recharged everyone.

A fully catered for lunch was served as we all sat under the blue sky overlooking the ocean and reflected on the days adventure.

With music playing and spirits high the Freedom Bus got us home safely ready for;
